My boxee beta crashes every single time that I try to interact with the netflix app. I'm runnning a freshly installed version of Windows media center xp 2005.

With the july alpha on leopard, Netflix cannot play movies, it will hang on either the "connecting to netflix" screen or go to a black screen and hang there.

the Search function still does not return relevant results.  Ask for more details if you need them.  Basically if I do a search through the netflix web interface I get results that are meaningful and usually find what I want, through boxee they are hardly ever relevant and I never find what I'm looking for.  The work around is to search on the web interface, add to my instant queue, this is not ideal of course.

Marcel,

Any update on progress for Ubuntu version?  I KNOW it's a tired and tough subject, but I was just wondering.

@Eric - Glad that I was able to help this far.  Bug is into Jira at http://jira.boxee.tv/browse/BOXEE-3517.  Bug has been escalated to critical and assigned to a programmer.  You can go the the address above and click on Watch to get email updates as they get things fixed or ask questions.

Have a GREAT week!

@Greg - That was it. I uninstalled Boxee completely including the profile data. I then re-installed it and it then asked me about the cookie. I was also having problems with other app that required a login like Digg. I can now get into that.

Thanks!

Eric,

Did you have an earlier version of Boxee on that machine?  If so, try un-installing it.  Won't work, but you should get the request for cookies in step 5.

Through the Boxee website, I pair Boxee with Netflix by giving Boxee access to my Netflix account. I did it on the same machine as boxee. I removed Netflix from 'My Apps' and added it back in and restarted Boxee. I select Netflix in My Apps but nothing happens. I'm running and up to date version of Vista with Silverlight installed. In fact, I can play netflix movies through FireFox.
