Calibrating the Screen

Question

How to calibrate the screen?

Answer

When running Boxee for the first time after an install, you will be asked if you would like to calibrate the screen. You can choose to calibrate now or skip calibration.

If you choose not to calibrate at install, you can always do this adjustment at any time if you find your screen is not calibrated correctly and/or parts of the Boxee user interface are missing off the screen.

To set Boxee to fit your screen, follow the on-screen instructions:

Using the remote adjust the position of Arrow #1 in the top left corner of the screen. You should just be able to see the blue arrow-head and two thin blue lines in the corner. Press select on the remote when you're satisfied with this adjustment.

Repeat the same steps for Arrow #2 and press select when you're ready for the next screen.

If you're satisfied with the results, select Done; otherwise you can select Try Again.

If you wish to make these screen adjustments again, you do so from the Settings > General > Display.

Next, Boxee will lead you through creating a New User Account or logging in as an Existing User for your personal Boxee experience.
