The Media section in the Settings contains the configuration options for the way Boxee behaves with audio and video content. You can control the way Boxee present the content in here.

• Video

  The Video section contains the settings on the post processing Boxee does to video content.

  • Deinterlacing policy

  • De-ringing filter

  • Gaussain filter

  NOTE: - This are advanced settings.

• Audio

  Specify preferred language audio track.

• Subtitles

  Set the default options for Subtitles in video content.

  • Enable By Default (Unchecked means subtitles are disabled by default).

  • Preferred Language

  • Character set - default encoding for subtitles.

  • Size

  • Style

  • Color

• Music

  Turns on and off the auto play next music track, default is checked.

• Photos

  Setup for viewing photos.

  • Show each image for (1 - 100 seconds, default = 5 seconds)

  • Transition time between images (100 - 1000 ms - default = 2500)

  • Use pan and zoom effects (default = checked)

• Advanced

  Turn on or off an option to automatically generate thumbs for videos without cover art, set a minimum size limit for resolving videos, show or hide hidden directories and to ignore prefixes for local content names in the sorting process.
