Turn Off Boxee – Keep Network Storage ON

There are several options that turn off Boxee while leaving Iomega TV's network storage available:

• Press and immediately release the power button on the remote control.

• Press and immediately release the power button on the front of the Iomega TV.

• Use the Boxee Shutdown option. Press the Back button on the remote control until you see the Boxee search screen. Press the up arrow to select the power icon at the top of the screen and press OK. Choose Shutdown and press OK again.

  NOTE: You can also use this method to put the Boxee side of Iomega TV into sleep mode. It will power up faster from sleep mode than from complete Boxee power down.

Turn Off Both Boxee and Network Storage

To turn off both the Boxee interface and the Iomega TV's network storage at the same time, press and hold the power button on either the remote control or the front of the Iomega TV about four seconds before releasing it. Allow time for Iomega TV to shut down.

NOTES:

• Using the power button on the remote control provides the most graceful shutdown for both Boxee and network storage; however, it takes somewhat longer to complete shutdown.

• If the Iomega TV is frozen and not responding to the remote control, you can force a hard shut down by holding the power button on the front of the box for at least six seconds before releasing it.

Turn Off Network Storage – Leave Boxee ON

To turn off just the network storage on the Iomega TV, use the storage manager client software from a computer. Open the Iomega TV admin console and select System → System Tasks →Shutdown.
